It breaks away from conventional categories, neither fitting the mold of an e-motorbike nor an e-scooter. With two performance variants available, the new BMW CE 02 caters to different riding preferences and age requirements. Riders aged 16 and above can opt for the 11 kW (15 hp) version, which delivers quick acceleration and a top speed of 95 km/h. Meanwhile, the 4 kW (5 hp) version, limited to 45 km/h, meets the requirements of the AM driving license class, allowing younger riders to enjoy the CE 02’s benefits. Weighing only 132 kg (11 kW version) or 119 kg (4 kW version), and featuring a low seat height of just 750 mm, this electric vehicle offers agile and playful handling characteristics, making it perfect for navigating urban landscapes. The BMW CE 02 is designed with convenience and connectivity in mind. Its easy-to-read TFT display provides essential information such as riding speed and battery charge status. A USB-C charging socket enables riders to conveniently power their smartphones on the go. By using the BMW Motorrad Connected app, riders can access features like predicting the end of charging, trip recording, and BMW Motorrad Connected Services. The app can be safely controlled via the handlebar keypad when placed in the smartphone holder, enhancing the rider’s overall experience.
