Adidas TERREX has teamed up with National Geographic for a multi-season collaboration to release a range of high-performance outdoor wear. The partnership is based on a shared appreciation for nature and the fundamental human need to connect with the world around us.
The inaugural collection is designed to celebrate the role of photography in the culture of outdoor sports, with hikers turning their explorations and spirit of adventure into stunning visual content. The designers at adidas TERREX have sourced breathtaking images from National Geographic’s photography archives, and have integrated them into unique all-over prints for a bold new hiking collection. All pieces feature National Geographic’s iconic yellow logo.
The collection showcases a variety of remote and stunning locations on Earth, including a snow-covered sandstone monocline in Utah’s Comb Ridge and textured portraits of shale formations in Norway’s northernmost county. The 51-piece collection offers women’s, men’s, and gender-neutral options, all built to equip the wearer for multi-terrain environments.
One of the standout pieces in the collection is the RAIN.RDY Jacket, a 2.5L waterproof and seam-sealed outer garment designed for epic adventures. The men’s version features a bold print of the shell formations in Norway’s Porsanger Peninsula, while the women’s is inspired by stills of White Sands National Park in New Mexico. The jacket also includes smart design features such as easily accessible pockets, pre-shaped sleeves for added protection, harness-compatible pockets, and a stowaway hood with a wire brim for improved coverage from the rain, which can be easily stashed when the temperature changes. The jacket also features a bold new logo design that alternates between TERREX and National Geographic from different perspectives, as well as reflective tape on the back and is partially made with recycled materials.
The collection also includes a bold long-sleeved shirt with a drop hem and lightweight fit for easy movement on the go, finished with the National Geographic yellow logo and reflective details. The TERREX Swift R3 GORE-TEX Hiking shoes provide a combination of lightweight construction, cushioning, and stability for a comfortable hike. The shoes feature a print inspired by a stunning aerial shot of Earth, as well as a GORE-TEX lining and Continental™ Rubber outsole for optimal grip in wet or dry conditions.
The WIND.RDY: GET SHELTERED Jacket offers wind-resistant technology and water-repellent ripstop fabric to protect explorers in various weather conditions. The men’s and women’s versions include bold prints inspired by photography, such as the sandstone and snow at Comb Ridge in Utah. The jacket also features smart design elements such as a bungee-cord enabled adjustable hem, a lightweight fabric, and reflective details. The jacket includes a bold new lenticular logo design that alternates between TERREX and National Geographic from different perspectives and is partially made with recycled materials.
Adidas TERREX and National Geographic’s collaboration offers a stunning and functional collection for outdoor enthusiasts to explore and connect with nature.
