Adidas has recently unveiled its latest collection of high-performance tennis apparel, called the SS23 Paris Collection. Inspired by the clay courts where it will be worn, the collection features 14 pieces for both men and women, incorporating smart designs and apparel technologies to help enhance player performance.
Designed to coincide with the clay season, the SS23 Paris Collection boasts earthy-toned, camouflage-style prints that blend in with the court’s colors and textures, making it difficult for opponents to anticipate the player’s movements.
The collection includes a range of multi-layered garments, such as the men’s 2-in-1 shorts, women’s Match Tight and Skirt, men’s Techfit Tights, and long-sleeved tee with zoned compression sleeves. These pieces help keep players warm during cooler temperatures, provide a compressive feel for optimal support, and enable faster removal of lactic acid from the arm muscles.
The men’s FRL Polo and Tee feature a FreeLift construction, designed to offer free movement without the hem riding up during play, allowing players to focus on their game.
The collection also integrates HEAT.RDY and AEROREADY technologies, ensuring that players feel cool and comfortable on court, even during intense matches. Several items, such as the women’s MTBR Dress and men’s MTBR Tee, are Made To Be Remade products, the first line for which Adidas has developed an end-of-life solution.
The SS23 Paris Collection will debut on court during the clay season’s most prestigious tournament, worn by top players like Stefanos Tsitsipas, Garbiñe Muguruza, Felix Auger Aliassime, Dana Mathewson, Maria Sakkari, and Sascha Zverev.
