PUMA has collaborated with South Korean fashion pioneer, Juun.J, to create a unique sneaker called the Plexus. Juun.J is known for his distinct color palette and love for shapes, which is evident in the design of the Plexus.
The sneaker has a functional, utility-inspired look that exudes high-end sensibilities. It features a unique closure and lace construction, which are complemented by a glossy black carabiner attached to the upper. The collaboration does not have any prominent logos or graphics, except for a subtly debossed logo on the heel and co-branding on the tongue.
The Plexus is completely black, including the outsole and laces, and is made with recycled mesh for the sock liner. The overall effect is a powerful expression of PUMA and Juun.J’s DNA. The sneaker’s modern and structural design seeks to challenge established designs and transcend the ordinary.
