The Kendo 88 also boasts a new Tailored Carbon Tips and a Tailored Titanal Frame, which are exclusive to Völkl. The Tailored Carbon Tips allow the engineers to influence the curve behaviour of the ski with great accuracy, using carbon fibres applied by means of Tailored Fibre Placement (TFP). This means that you can steer the ski in a measured, easy manner, without losing stability or agility. The Tailored Titanal Frame is an evolution of the familiar Titanal Frame, which can be adjusted to the length of the ski and the desired torsional stiffness and damping behaviour. The Titanal content is reduced in shorter skis, which means shorter and lighter skiers can get more out of their skis without excessive effort.
The Kendo 88 also features a renowned multilayer wood core surrounded by a full sidewall and a P-Tex 2100 base. This construction provides strength, durability and responsiveness for all kinds of snow conditions.
