Alexander Shorokhoff has unveiled the latest version of its “Deep Ding” watch series, known as the “Deep Ding 2”. This new model is a follow-up to the original “Deep Ding 1”, the first watch by the Alexander Shorokhoff brand to offer 10 ATM water resistance.
The dial of the “Deep Ding 2” features an artistic representation of waves, meant to evoke the sea. The hour markers are large and luminous, as are the hands, which are also designed for easy readability in dark or underwater conditions. The case features two crowns, one at 2 o’clock for the rotating inner bezel and the other at 4 o’clock for time setting. Both crowns are marked for clarity and feature double gaskets to protect against water pressure. The case is coated in scratch-resistant black and rose gold PVD.
One of the unique features of the “Deep Ding 2” is its versatility. The case can be worn with or without a grille, constructed from six stainless steel rods and 12 mounting screws, which provides added protection. The grille can be easily removed or mounted depending on the wearer’s preference.
The watch comes with a high-quality rubber strap and an elegant folding clasp made from solid stainless steel. The strap features the brand’s AS sign on one side and the slogan “Art on the Wrist” on the other, with a wave-like pattern embossed on the back to match the dial.
The “Deep Ding 2” is powered by a reliable Swiss 2824.ETA movement or an equivalent Selita SW-200 movement, with a hand-engraved and refined rotor. The caseback features an image of two turtles in 3D design.
Finally, a new watch box has been designed specifically for the “Deep Ding 2”, with a wavy fabric cover in a lighter bluish hue. A “peephole” with a steel frame allows the watch to be seen even when the box is closed, while the left side of the box contains a certificate of authenticity and an additional cleaning kit for the glass underneath the grille.
