Timex x Todd Snyder MK-1 Sky King

The Timex x Todd Snyder MK-1 Sky King is the latest collaboration between designer Todd Snyder and Timex and it represents Todd’s first take on a chronograph. The watch draws inspiration from the utilitarian style of standard-issue timepieces worn by American servicemen, and it is based on an archival style from the late 1960s. The MK-1 is as close to a vintage field watch as you can get without time travel, and it features three sub-dials that can be started, stopped, and returned to zero by manipulating the stem. One sub-dial tracks hours, another minute, and the third seconds, making it a versatile and functional watch.

The watch operates on a Quartz Movement and is available in two dial colorways: black and blaze orange. The black dial version is sleek and classic, while the blaze orange dial version adds a pop of color to your wrist. The watch has a 42mm case and 20mm lug, making it the perfect size for any wrist. The watch is also water resistant up to 50 meters, making it suitable for everyday use.

The watch has a number of design details that make it stand out. The watch has a Domed Acrylic Crystal, which gives it a vintage feel and adds to its durability. The hands are luminant, making it easy to read the time in low-light conditions. Additionally, the olive canvas strap is made of recycled clothes and is finished with a genuine leather tan lining, making it environmentally friendly.
