Princess Yachts – Princess S80

Princess Yachts has announced the latest addition to its S Class sportbridge range, the stunning new Princess S80. This sleek and versatile yacht features Princess’ latest sweeping design language and was designed by the in-house Princess Design Studio in collaboration with naval architects Olesinski and the Italian design house, Pininfarina.

The all-new S80 boasts a versatile layout that allows it to be managed as an owner-operated vessel or crewed, with the option of an enclosed helm plus crew accommodation for up to three. The yacht’s design is defined by flowing lines, sculptural exterior surfaces, and a distinctive canopy flash, which combine to create a striking yet elegant presence. Its exterior styling evolved from the beautiful S72 launched at boot Dusseldorf 2023.

The S80 is built for on-water enjoyment, with a garage to the port side and a Williams tender launch system capable of holding up to a Williams Sport Jet 435, plus an electro-hydraulic bathing platform. The cockpit and transom have been designed to maximize space and comfort for guests, with twin sunpads and a configurable seating area with twin coffee tables, while the large teak-laid deck and oval stainless steel rails complete the vessel’s luxurious flagship status.

Full-length windows flow along the main deck, extending either side of the cockpit canopy to provide a sheltered area from the sun. The galley is fully equipped with Miele appliances and a Sub-Zero full-height fridge/freezer, while the saloon features a spacious C-shaped sofa and a helm that offers access to all instrumentation and controls, including the Böning vessel monitoring system. The lower deck of the S80 boasts four en-suite cabins, each with chilled water air-conditioning and opening portholes for natural ventilation.

The aft lazarette and two-berth crew cabin with a bathroom are situated aft of the machinery space, with various layout options, including an additional crew mess area, an optional third crew bunk, or a separate laundry center. A watertight door from the electro-hydraulic bathing platform provides direct access to this area.

The S80’s 28.7 m2 sportbridge is an impressive outdoor living space with multiple seating areas, a wet bar with barbecue, and generous refrigeration. A converting dining table and an outdoor TV on a rise and fall mechanism are also available to suit every occasion.

Equipped with MAN V12 1900 or 2000 horsepower engines, the S80 can reach speeds up to 34 knots, while an optional 7,000-litre fuel tank enables an extended cruising range. The yacht is optimized for greater efficiency using conventional straight shafts and propellers, delivering easy close-quarters maneuvering and sure-footed thoroughbred performance. Both vector fin and gyro stabilization options are available for greater control in challenging sea conditions.
