The Nike Vaporfly 3 is the latest offering from Nike Running, designed to enhance the performance of runners who strive for personal excellence. Building on the successes of the Nike Vaporfly 2, the latest iteration of the supershoe has been refined and improved to meet the evolving needs of distance runners.
The Vaporfly 3’s core remains unchanged, with a full-length carbon fiber Flyplate and ZoomX midsole providing the propulsive feel that runners have come to love. The updated midsole geometry, featuring a convex shape around the forefoot, offers a smooth transition and improved stability while delivering the most resilient foam from Nike.
The first colorway of the Vaporfly 3 is a tribute to the development journey of the Nike Running team, with graphics on the midsole referencing the number of Flyknit upper iterations tested (57) and the identification number of a dedicated weartester (20126-23). The iconic Swoosh logo in white against an all-white silhouette is a nod to the first Vaporfly worn at a Breaking 2 test event in 2017.
The Prototype colorway of the Nike Vaporfly 3 will be available from March 6th on Nike.com and at select running specialty stores, with more colorways to follow.
