Dainese Antarctica GORE-TEX 2 Motorcycle Jacket

The Dainese Antarctica GORE-TEX 2 Motorcycle jacket is a state-of-the-art piece of clothing that is designed to provide superior thermal insulation and protection in even the most extreme conditions. The jacket is the result of a collaboration between Dainese and MIT, who used research on the human body’s lines of non-extension when designing the space suits that NASA astronauts will wear on their journey to Mars. The Antarctica GORE-TEX 2 jacket combines cutting-edge protective technology with ergonomics that ensure total freedom of movement for the wearer.

The jacket features a 20,000 mm GORE-TEX laminated membrane that serves as a shield against rain, snow, and other atmospheric agents. This allows the wearer to tackle long journeys in any weather, while still enjoying maximum breathability. The 700 Fill Power down lining, which is removable and can be worn separately, offers ultimate thermal insulation, making it an essential piece of clothing for exploring the coldest climates on Earth.

The Dainese Antarctica GORE-TEX 2 Motorcycle Jacket is also designed to be highly practical, even on the most demanding journeys. The jacket features two floating, waterproof side pockets, a large waterproof cargo pocket on the back, and the iconic external G.O. Pockets for stowing gloves during short breaks, allowing the wearer to conveniently store all essential equipment so that it is always close at hand.

The jacket also offers maximum protection in every situation. It features Pro-Armor Lev. Type B protectors on the shoulders, elbows, and knees have the highest level of certification and offer the best coverage area for limb protection. Additionally, the jacket features ventilation and freedom of movement guaranteed by Dainese Pro-Armor technology, which is inspired by the geometries of natural fractals. A pocket on the back of the jacket allows for the insertion of a removable Pro-Armor back protector.

The areas of the jacket that are most sensitive to impact are reinforced with exclusive Trixior D-Tec, an engineered fabric that is highly resistant to abrasion and wear. It’s electronic processing ensures the optimum thickness and structure so as to faithfully trace the body’s movements.
