Bremont Broadsword Recon Limited Edition

Bremont has launched the limited edition Broadsword Recon, a modern interpretation of the iconic three-handed ‘Dirty Dozen’ field watch design, developed for the British Army during World War Two. As part of their ongoing partnership with the Ministry of Defence, this timepiece features badges of all three services on its case back, along with the inscription “Approved by Her Majesty’s Armed Forces”, indicating its approval by the MOD during Her Majesty’s reign.

The Broadsword Recon comes with a striped canvas NATO-style strap, and buyers can choose to complement it with either a black Temple Island rubber strap or a dark brown vintage leather strap. The 40mm hardened steel case features a matte black metal dial and matte black-finished hands. However, the numerals and hands have been coated with green-emission Super-LumiNova to ensure visibility even in low-light conditions.

Inside the Broadsword Recon, the chronometer-rated BE-95-2AV movement powers the three hands and a sub-seconds hand at 6 o’clock. The watch is available in various case finishes, including stainless steel, DLC, and bronze. The limited edition Broadsword Recon features a sandwich dial construction and is limited to just 200 pieces. It completes the Armed Forces Collection that includes other iconic timepieces.
