Bell & Ross x Alain Silberstein Black Ceramic Trilogy

The designer, Alain Silberstein, Bruno Belamich, and Carlos Rosillo have created a trilogy of timepieces based on our iconic BR 03 design. The new Grail Watch Alain Silberstein x Bell & Ross Trilogy consists of a BR 03 time-only model with a date, a BR 03 diving watch, and a BR 03 chronograph. Each watch will be made in numbered examples, with the first 50 of each being sold as an exclusive boxed set.

The time-only model is the purest expression of Silberstein’s and Bell & Ross’ collaboration, featuring a black ceramic case and jet-back dial. The oversized geometric hands transform the functional object into a playful object evoking optimism and humor.

A large red circle represents the hours, an oversized blue arrow records the minutes, while a brightly colored yellow S-shape indicates the passing of seconds. The dial is interrupted only by the subtle date indicator. At the same time, the minute track is pure Bell & Ross, expressing rugged instrument typography drawn from cockpit instruments. Providing a visual jolt, four primary yellow cardinal markers have also been added. The time-only watch features an automatic movement with a date function, caliber BR.CAL-302.

Priced at USD 4,400, limited to 200 pieces.

The chronograph model watch is for both visual maximalists and those who love the functional advantages of a timepiece capable of timing events. It has a total of five hands—the red hour hand, blue minute hand, yellow seconds hand in the shape of an S, and two subdials for the date and day—but the Bauhaus-inspired hands remain unchanged.

The watch’s chronograph function features a blue triangle for the 30-minute counter, with a yellow arrow for the continuous second’s indicator. The chronograph pushers are inlaid with a yellow lacquered rectangle for the start/stop function and a blue rectangle for the reset function. The crown features Silberstein’s signature red triangle. The watch features an automatic chronograph movement with a date, the BR.CAL-301.

Priced at USD 6,700, limited to 100 pieces.

Silberstein’s Diver model expresses his most daring new interpretation of his design language while still retaining its functional utility as a submersible timepiece.

The watch features Silberstein’s “Maxi” hands, a blue circular material with a massive luminous plot for the hours, and a huge red triangle inlaid with luminous material for the minute hand that provides a reading for elapsed dive time.

Silberstein and Belamich also designed a two-tone ceramic bezel for the last 20 minutes of the insert, which was red and had a full set of 20-minute markers with luminous indexes. The diver model is water resistant to 300 meters, features a screw-down crown and is powered by the same automatic movement found in the time-only model, caliber BR.CAL-302.

Priced at USD 5,600, limited to 100 pieces.
