Acer Vero Laser Projectors (PL2520i-XL2220-XL2320W)

Acer announced three new Vero projectors, designed to equip businesses and consumers with high-performing energy-efficient projectors while providing more options to reduce their ecological footprint. The new projectors incorporate green materials by using 50% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic in the chassis and recycled paper packaging to reduce the production of harmful materials and limit their impacts on the environment. These mercury-free projectors also bring in superior laser light technology for crystal-clear images and long-lasting brightness for an extended duration, helping save on the total cost of ownership and power consumption.

Acer has introduced new environmentally friendly projectors, replacing traditional lamp-based models with laser light sources for increased brightness and improved energy efficiency. The new “Green But Mean” projectors provide eight times less brightness decay while consuming approximately 50% less power in comparison to traditional lamp-based projectors, reducing the total cost of ownership while inflicting less harm to the environment. Maintenance and replacement costs will be significantly reduced with a 30,000-hour lifespan—an ideal choice for high-frequency use.

Designed with a dynamic 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio and a 4,000 ANSI and 3,500 ANSI lumens brightness respectively, the Acer Vero PL2520i and XL2220/XL2320W projectors can produce vivid and precise images from long distances and in dark surroundings. These also feature Acer ColorBoost3D technology and accurately reproduce 93% of the Rec. 709 color gamut—a wider gamut than many other models on the market—delivering superior color production and display as compared to lamp models. Acer’s tailor-made Football mode is designed for use during big-screen presentations in meeting rooms or at home; it allows users to adjust image settings for maximum clarity during football games or any other sporting event.

Designed for hassle-free installation, the Acer Vero PL2520i, and XL2220/XL2320W projectors can be used in either 360-degree projection or portrait mode. Users can maximize the flexibility of this product by adjusting it from any angle to project onto walls, ceilings, and floors. The projector then uses its automatic keystone correction technology for automatic adaptive adjustments and projects an ideal display on the desired viewing surface. The Acer Vero PL2520i offers 1.3X optical zoom capabilities, giving users greater flexibility in terms of image adjustment and installation.

The new Vero projectors are rated IP6X “dust-tight” and offer the highest level of protection from solid objects, allowing them to perform exceptionally even in challenging environments. They also have built-in 15W speakers, providing powerful, room-filling sound from videos, movies, or music. The Acer Vero PL2520i supports wireless projection and mirroring display-compatible devices to allow direct screen projection without any limitations.
